Witton Albion Charity Football Match for Help for Heroes

We are holding a charity football match like last years at Altrincham Football club, this year we are at Witton Albion Football Club in Northwich, Mark Harris Chairman of Witton has kindly offered the club and any help we need to host the match on Sunday 27th March 2011. Where a team of soldiers will take on the celebrity All Stars team organised by Tony Steenson.
There will be stars from Holyoaks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale to name a few, the stars give their time for free to raise money for charity’s.



Members of the 1^st Battalion the Mercian Regiment will be there as will members of the Royal Signals.



There will be a raffle after the match plus an auction, there is a live band, and also a dedication to 1 Mercian.



Admission is £5 adults £3 uder12 so the whole family can go.

Witton Albion are now sponsors of Help For Heroes, they are also creating links with the Mercian Regiment (Cheshire's) & are offering free entry to non-league home games to any member of the Mercian Regiment, just flash your ID card.

Its Only Rock N Roll

On Saturday 28th Aug 2010 we where invited by Gary Robertson to put up a H4H table at the Masonic Hall in Sale so the "It's Only Rock N Roll'ers" could raise funds for H4H, we did and they did to the tune of £340. It was an excellent night that we really enjoyed & we were privileged enough to meet a lot of very genuine & generous people.

Belle Epoque Knutsford

On the 11th November Surfire is hosting a black tie event at Belle Epoque in Knutsford Cheshire.
There will be members of the military & Veterans at the event plus a celebrity, during the night there is also a speaker, raffle & auction.
Funds raised will be going to Help for Heroes & toward Project Noel, itself a fund raiser for SSAFA/RSBF & the ABF. please see area2rsa.com for more information on this event.

Newcastle United Football Acadamy

On 28th April we had a warm up match at NUFC Acadamy, between a military team and the acadamy team, great day out.

Darlington FC H4H ABF football match

On the Sunday 9th May 2010 a Celebrity Soldiers football match is being played at Darlington FC http://www.darlington-fc.net/page/Home/
